Tower Tech, Inc. is the result of 32 years of air traffic control experience and service in United States Forest Service temporary towers. Controlling air traffic at these towers revealed the need for a rapid response unit, a unit that supplied personnel and equipment to assist in fire fighting efforts. This need became a vision, and after four years of interagency collaboration, Tower Tech, Inc. was born.

In August, 2004,
Tower Tech, Inc. debuted at Thunder in the Sky Air Show in Auburn, California. Although the living quarters were under construction, the tower cab offered a fully equipped and operational environment. A new application for
Tower Tech, Inc. emerged: providing services for air show venues in a comfortable and functional portable air traffic management facility.
